All told, despite the disappointing transmission choices, the new Bentley Continental V8 GT is an inspired premium sports coupe. The slight hit in performance is easily offset by the gains in efficiency. Not only that, this version of the Continental will be 10-15 per cent less expensive than the W12 – which costs from $405,719 in Australia. Nice....

The exhaust blast is best heard from week back rather than within and even with the top down conversations are carried without raised voices. Visually an exercise in conspicuous consumption, to drive an exercise in leisure. Never mind your mortgage, live in one of these....
